Deep water rough and timeless
Finds its way in secret coves
Pent up no longer, it thrusts
Feral froth against the sand
Crashes hard then ebbs back out
Reveals drenched, glistening castles
Then gushes back in for more

  4. I’ll never think of tides the same way again.
    Destroying the sandcastle reminds me of clothes being torn off or desks cleared.
