cities in nitric soup, a
damp apocalyptic grace
where my lover and I lie
in tin sheds and detritus
fulfilling our solemn role:
we must rekindle the race

  1. only riffing off Jodi’s shower scene here …

  2. If you have to lie in tin sheds and detritus, you have to lie in tin sheds and detritus. Then you know you must really be into it. 🙂
Nice one, Sean. I want to know more about these people. Keep going, eh?

  3. Jodi MacArthur says:

You paint a desperate and gloomy scene, and yet underneath it all is passion and hope. This is ten times better than my shower scene because it has depth. Awesome futuristic spin, Sean.

  4. Thanks

    Rachel: 🙂
Margo – whew, maybe, okay, I’ll see what comes next 🙂
Jodi – not better just different, plus yours has depth, and I wouldn’t have written that first line without reading yours first.
