Margo’s full moon flash haiku

This is my answer to Tim’s full-moon continuation challenge. Thanks, Tim!

Cover me now, dear,
My appetite must not know
What surely it craves

Want you and now, dear
To devour with every sense
Lest I am contained

The first stanza was too tame, so I added a “hungrier” one.

Keep it going!

  1. Tim Keeton says:

    Nice Margo.

    Rhyme on!

  2. Jodi MacArthur says:

I like how the character is torn between passion and propriety(?). Bram Stoker knew how to capture this kind of sensuality, and so do you.

  3. Thanks, guys. Wow, Jodi, goodness me. I’m shaking my head, but I do thank you. 🙂
I think you’ll like my next post. Tomorrow or Tuesday…
